I knew I wanted to live in the Gold Coast, so I spent weeks looking at all of the rental hi-rises and they just didn’t feel like home.  I knew instantly when I walked into the small building at 20 E. Scott that I was going to live here.  I have a large gut rehabbed one bedroom with an awesome kitchen.  I dig the juxtaposition of the quiet beauty of Scott Street with the crazy nightlife on Division literally 2 blocks away.  This is everything I wanted!

This is a great place to live. It's not the fanciest building on the block, but you can't beat it for the price. I've lived here for almost 3 years and have very little to complain about. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. The building management is very tenant-friendly and helpful. All the residents are super friendly! Some of the apartments have been gutted, some haven't, so you have people from all walks of life here - I love it!

Love, love, love my new studio apartment at 20 E. Scott! I feel like I am living in a condo – everything in here is brand new.  I especially love my gourmet kitchen with the stainless steel appliances an quartz counter top – the only drawback is my friends now expect gourmet meals when they come over!

I truly feel I live on the prettiest street in the Gold Coast! I absolutely love living at 20 E. Scott. I can walk to the lake and the best bars and restaurants in Chicago! My studio has hardwood floors and stainless and granite kitchen - my friends all think I have a condo! My engineer is the best - I was locked out the other night and he was here within 10 minutes with a smile!

Stayed in this building a long time because it was exceptional. Good quiet neighbors, responsive management and loved loved loved the location. Building engineer was very friendly and would do just about anything I asked. I never heard my neighbors-- I once asked one if she was ever home or owned a TV because I never heard a sound from her direction. I love that I had covered parking but ended up selling my car because I could walk everywhere! I really miss 20 E. Scott.
